About Team Generator
Shuffle participants into balanced teams with optional captains.
Participants are shuffled and assigned to the smallest team. Captains occupy separate teams; group sizes differ by at most one person.
How to use it
- Enter unique participant names and choose a team count.
- Optionally nominate captains, then generate and download the list.
Common use cases
- Organize workshops, classroom groups or casual matches.
Worked example
Eleven participants in three teams produce groups of four, four and three.
Limitations and responsible use
- 2–200 participants; 2–50 teams. Captains must match unique participant names, one per team.
